The 2020 PQA Annual Meeting starts in two weeks on Wednesday, May 13. If you haven't made plans to join us, register today! All of the meeting sessions you would experience at our in-person meeting will be delivered online.
The meeting takes place May 13-15 through five 90-minute sessions. If you can't be online for the full meeting, all sessions will be recorded and available to registrants on demand after the meeting. There is no registration cost for PQA members.
Timely Conversations & Medication Use Quality Education
Our meeting features 10 educational sessions that will showcase top strategies and emerging trends for improving medication use quality. In addition, our general sessions will provide timely conversations on the impact of COVID-19 on business and quality.
Bruce Japsen, a senior contributor for Forbes, and expert on healthcare business and policy will join PQA CEO Laura Cranston, RPh, in a fireside chat on the impact of COVID-19 on care delivery and the businesses of PQA’s members. Benjamin McNabb, PharmD, the owner of Love Oak Pharmacy in Eastland, Texas, will join the discussion to provide the insights of an independent, community pharmacist.
An expert on healthcare business and policy, Japsen has a finger on the pulse of the diverse companies and organizations central to medication services and medication use quality. Check out his Forbes bylines here. McNabb spoke at PQA's Caring for the Whole Patient SDOH forum last November and is a CPESN Texas luminary.
Opportunities to Learn and Engage Online Will Continue through the Summer
We also have five 1-hour sessions every Thursday from May 28-June 25 featuring additional educational sessions and our Innovation Theaters, which are a commercial showcase of an organization’s innovations, technology, services or research. Our poster sessions will be available to registrants as a pre-meeting activity on May 6 and 7.
You can access the full agenda as a PDF.
We will highlight additional meeting sessions in future blog posts leading up to the meeting.
