Virginia Sweeter, CMP

Director, Convening

Virginia Sweeter, CMP, is the Director, Convening at the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA). In this role, she is responsible for the strategy, planning, management, and execution of PQA's convening activities.

Prior to PQA, Sweeter served as the Director of Alliance Development and Education for the National Pharmaceutical Council (NPC). She was the principle of Cadre Resources, a consulting firm that provided executive leadership, association management and corporate meeting outsourcing services within the health care industry. Prior to her consultancy role, she was Deputy Executive Director of the Academy for Managed Care Pharmacy. 

A native New Englander, Sweeter enjoys spending time hiking, “picking” for vintage and antique collectibles, channeling The Barefoot Contessa, and walking the beach.

She is a graduate of Boston University Questrom School of Business and is a Certified Meeting Professional.
