Melissa Viscovich is Chief Operating Officer for the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA). Viscovich leads PQA’s finance and operations to ensure the current and future success of the organization. Focused on high-level impact, long-term strategy, culture cultivation and organizational effectiveness, Viscovich oversees all operational and administrative functions, finance, human resources and information technology.

Viscovich has nearly 30 years of association management experience. Previously, she served as senior vice president and chief operating officer for the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations, where she had responsibility for operations, finance, membership, and events. She was instrumental in launching several impactful initiatives, including NAPEO Gives Back, which has donated more than $450K to community nonprofits since 2019, and Women in NAPEO (WIN), a networking program designed to engage, empower, and encourage women in the PEO industry.

Viscovich is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and was awarded IOM graduate recognition for completing the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s comprehensive course of study in nonprofit management. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and government from The College of William & Mary.
