Laurin Dixon, PharmD 

Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield 


Laurin Dixon is the Lead Executive, Medicare Products at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In this role, she has day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of the Medicare lines, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Drug and Medicare Supplement. This includes accountability for strategic direction in product administration/operations, network development, revenue optimization, value-based contracting, risk adjustment, vendor management, pharmacy and medical trend results, and clinical quality/Stars. In addition to leading the Medicare Product, Laurin also has responsibility for leading the strategy and implementation of quality programs within the Arkansas Medicaid (ARHOME) program, a new state program for 2022.

Previously at Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Laurin served as the Director of Medicare Star Ratings, where she developed the Medicare Organization’s quality program, strategy, and clinical practices for patient experience, clinical outcomes, and pharmacy. Prior to Arkansas BlueCross & Blue Shield, she served as the Director of Pharmacy Quality and Stars at Humana, where she was responsible for driving Humana to the highest pharmacy Star measure performance ever achieved at that point and directly contributed to Humana’s industry-leading position of over 94% of members in a 4 Star plan.

Laurin completed an Executive Fellowship at the Pharmacy Quality Alliance. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Mississippi: School of Pharmacy, where she currently serves as a member of the Dean’s Board of Visitors.
